Juniper Dingle

This production site was first reported by Watkins in 1931, relocated by Peacey in the 1960s and subsequently sampled by excavation in 1992 (Peacey 1996, 270).
The pipes produced here date from the third quater of the seventeenth century.
Of the 150 pipe bowls recovered 71% are marked with various wheel stamps whilst the remainder are unmarked.
